Teapot Making Workshop

$450 / 2 sessions (4 hours per session)

Join renowned ceramic artist Jeon Sang Geun for a rare, in-depth workshop dedicated to wheel-thrown teapot making. Known for his refined craftsmanship and deep knowledge of traditional Korean pottery techniques,  Jeon brings a thoughtful and precise approach to form, balance, and function.

In this two-day workshop, Artist Jeon will guide students through his process. He will demonstrate how traditional Korean tools and techniques inform his practice—from throwing the body to shaping and attaching the spout, handle, and lid. Students will gain insight into the subtle decisions that make a teapot both visually harmonious and functionally precise.

Following the demonstration, participants will work on creating their own wheel-thrown teapot, receiving individualized guidance and feedback throughout the workshop. Tools from Korea will be provided as a gift to all participants as well.
