Over three pottery sessions, you’ll create a dinnerware set of your own, followed by a final shared dinner at Calmplex. On the last evening, the pieces you made will return to the table as part of a special dining experience, with a guest joining us for the occasion.

Miniature Making Class
$240 / 3 week sessions
The Miniature Making Class explores the art of creating small-scale ceramic pieces with care and intention. Designed for those who enjoy working slowly and paying attention to detail, this class focuses on form, proportion, and surface at an intimate scale.
Participants will learn techniques for building and refining miniature forms while creating a small collection of finished pieces. Open to all experience levels, this class offers a calm, hands-on environment that invites you to slow down and find joy in the details.
Knit & Sip: Triangle Scarf
$450 / 6 week sessions
Following our balaclava-making class, the next Knit & Sip series is here — this time, we’ll be making a triangle scarf. As winter fades and the in-between season begins, a lightweight triangle scarf is the perfect layer over a shirt or knit. Easy to wear through spring and into early summer, it’s a simple yet special piece you’ll reach for often.
Join us for 6 weeks to knit, sip tea, and enjoy house cookies from our tearoom while creating your own wearable piece in a warm, welcoming setting.
Wheel Throwing

Discover the joy of spinning clay into beautiful forms in this 6-week course. Designed for beginners and intermediate learners, this class explores essential wheel-throwing techniques such as centering, pulling, and shaping. Hand Building

Unleash your creativity with our 5-week hand-building course! This class introduces slab, coil, and pinch techniques to create pottery that reflects your personal touch. Perfect for those who prefer sculpting without the wheel, this class offers a relaxed environment to shape unique ceramic pieces by hand.
Intermediate Hand Building

This addition to our Semester Classes is for students who have previously taken our Multi Week Hand Building Class, or for students coming in with previous experience.​
Intermediate Hand Building: Form & Surface Exploration
$480 / 6 week session
Explore techniques in form, alteration, and surface design.
This 6-week intermediate handbuilding course introduces a range of surface techniques, including sgraffito, mishima, bas relief, and stamp-making, along with an introduction to nerikomi using colored clay. The final session will be dedicated to glazing.
