Returning to the hand.
Calmplex began as a quiet shift — a desire to step away from fast-moving life and return to something slower, more tactile, and more human.
Clay became a way back to presence: to time, to touch, and to the simple act of making by hand.

To her, Calmplex is a soft curve—like the rim of a teacup, or bowl.

Ayumi spreads the joy of clay like seeds in the wind—casual, sincere, and a little playful.
She greets the day with a morning run and studio with a soft smile, and Calmplex feels like a small town to her—familiar, warm, and quietly buzzing.
